CROSSCOUNTRY THE BAND PLAYS TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

CrossCountry the Band recently played a concert at Texas Motor Speedway.  If you wanna read more about the entire weekend, please visit our letters from the road page on the menu bar.

One thing CrossCountry has been doing for years is giving away a guitar at their Nascar concerts.  Recently they began giving awar a Main Street red, white and blue guitar.  The last few races, while honoring our American soldiers, Leo has gotten the veterans present to sign the guitar before it is given away.  The winners of these guitars have been so excited, and this has been received well by everyone.  Below are a few pics of the veterans/enlisted members of our US military signing the guitar at Texas Motor Speedway.

MIS1.jpg

CrossCountry is once again hitting it hot and heavy on the NASCAR circuit.  We have been to Atlanta, Texas, Michigan and Talladega, with 4-5 more races to come this year.  We are excited about the opportunity to be there, and God just keeps blessing and equipping us.  Please be in prayer for us as we continue to try and plow this rugged field.  We've seen already close to 2,500 people come to Jesus this year, just at these four races alone.  We have some big stuff planned this year.

In March of 2006, Cross Country began recording their newest project, "Worship" at SMART Productions in Texarkana, Texas. The CD boasts 12 familiar praise and worship songs as well as some new releases by the band.
CrossCountry held their much anticipated CD release party at Sheperd's Valley Cowboy Church in Burleson, Texas this past Labor day. Though the much needed rain kept the band from performing outside as planned, the show went on inside the church for an audience of over 500.
